Losers Bracket Tailgate Recap
Rostebeefe and Mayonnaise setting up. A tribute to our troops.
Better late than never I bring you the recap of the 1st annual Losers Bracket Miller Park Tailgate Party.
It was awesome, really, a great time was had by all…..including me, shortribs and the rest of the Losers Bracket Staff. Also, we made friends with some nice peeps from Knapp Wisconsin who have since come to the site and commented. Winning.
Weather;
The weather was scary at first. On our way down it was a downpour. However, as soon as we arrived in the FRONT ROW of Gorman Thomas parking section, and maybe because it was Rapture Day….the sky parted and the sun came out. IT was perfect…..intermittent sun, a bit humid….cool breeze…perfect for pounding beers, Hammerschlagen, hotties and the Brewers.
Stadium:
Beautiful as always. And AND, the roof was open. This is big. Roof open in May doesn’t happen often. ROCK ON.
Seats
Crap. This is on me….kind of. See, the lady at “group sales” said “Oh the handicap section will be perfect, you get folding chairs and a section to yourself”. WRONG. Yeah, we could have had this, if we felt like kicking handicap people and veterans out of our section. NO, not our style. We dispersed, mostly to the right field foul pole standing room only, others around the stadium. I apologize to those who did not get a seat. This WILL NOT HAPPEN NEXT YEAR. We will have our own section or, if viewership keeps rolling….LUXURY BOX! Lesson learned and a bit mislead by the group sales lady. In the end, we were in the stadium, were wearing bright yellow and we made noise.
People
Great bunch of people attended the tailgate. Wives partied, Losers got drunk, someone threw a brat at a car (we do not condone this but it was funny), got the word out and finished the beer. Hotties LIKE HAMMERSCHLAGEN. Who knew? Note to you dudes out there, Hammerschlagen is cheap….real CHEAP and hotties play. Any questions?
Will we do it again?
Hell yes. Perhaps Packers? Perhaps more Brewer Action? Who knows. We will keep you posted. The goal here is to get the word out while hanging with our friends, family and fans. All were accomplished….so yes, we will do this again.

It should be noted that Mayonnaise holds the losersbracket.com tailgate record by eating 5 brats prior to entering the stadium. I had #6 after the game.
Both of which I believe are records for people to shoot for next time.
