MU Brick City
Marquette had their ass handed to them on Thursday night by Vanderbilt, 74 to 57. At home. MU shot a staggeringly poor 32% (20% from 3pt range). Dudes were chumping layups left and right. Not only that, their generally reliable tenacious defense was lacking. They allowed several leak out break away baskets that were the result of laziness. Vandy had wide open threes all over the place. Really a horse shit performance all around. Better shape up for the Big East (and find a reliable big guy to replace O’Toole) or it is going to be a long season.
