Aaron Rodgers avoids Madden Curse….and tweets his joy

I would rather see Rodgers do silly modeling shots like this than to EVER be on the Madden Cover.

As you may or may not know, Aaron Rodgers was once again in the running to be on the next Madden cover. Thankfully, he did not win. The finalists are Calvin Johnson (Detroit) and Cam Newton (Carolina).  Sucks to be these dudes. I mean, Cam……you are already inducted into the NFL hall of fame because you are the best ever ever to wear the uniform, but if you make the cover….say goodbye to 2012. I actually like Calvin Johnson and recognize he is one of the best WRs in the league. Poor Detroit, just can’t catch a break. If Megatron is on the cover, say goodbye to the 2012 season Lions Fans.

Not sure how EA Sports can fix this problem. None of the current NFL stars want to be on the cover. Ask Peyton Hillis how his 2011 NFL season went after gracing the cover of Madden. Maybe they should just pick the worst player in the league……or just pick an all time great who has retired….I really don’t know. Do you guys have any suggestions?
