Bucks NOW at #14…the History
Early today, you may have saw my post on the Bucks picking #12 and the history of that pick (if you didn’t, here it is). Well, about 2-hours after the article posted (AS I PREDICTED AT THE END OF THE POST), the Bucks sent the #12 pick, Jon Leuer, Jon Brockman, and Shaun Livingston to Houston for Samuel Dalembert and the #14 pick. I LOVE THE TRADE! Dalembert will be the starting center for the Bucks and the three guys they sent to Houston were borderline making the roster next season. Dalembert is a rebounder and a defender; pretty much what Milwaukee was looking at trying to draft. And dropping 2-spots, not a big deal. I talked with Bucks director of Scouting Bill McKinney today and here is what he said about dropping spots…Billy McKinney – dont lose too much by dropping to spots
So now, the Bucks pick 14th. Not going as in-depth as I did last, but here are the past 14th overall picks in the draft…

Plus I think I heard that they will have something like 10 million to spend in free agency because of this trade. GM said Jon Lauer was not originally involved in the trade, but they had to include him it because of the CBA where the salaries have to be something like 10-20% close to each other. Something like that. Hammond also said Lauer was very upset/mad at the trade.
Early word is, is that Houston is doing this to dangle their 3 picks & players to Orlando for Dwight Howard. I smell “rent-a-player” for one year. I also smell the Bucks will move to Seattle when the former Lefty Senator decides to sell this team when the Lefty Hippies in Milwaukee decide to vote down on funding/building a new arena. I also smell……..that’s it. I SMELL. Time to get in the shower. Get in bed. And jerk off to Barbara Mandrel. MMMMM….pie!
