It’s over. The people have spoken…..again. After all the nonsense, all the protests, all the pissing in the capitol and after all the hate spewing adds, lies and rants by the Liberals, they can finally shut up…..at least for now. Scott Walker won the recall election and Wisconsin can get back to work and remain “open for business”. Small business owners, large business owners, CEOs, farmers, everyone will hopefully see the benefit of fiscal responsibility and a business friendly environment.
I believe this election was also a reaction against the far left wing Democrats. Liberalism, just like any ideology, has valid points and beliefs. The problem is the far left. They hijacked Liberalism in this state and pissed everyone off. The protesting, the doctor notes, the running across the border in a hissy, destruction of property in the capitol building, bringing in the Reverend Jackson, Gwen Moore and her stupid song, on and on….Wisconsin just won’t stand for that crap and hopefully the Democrats see this and adopt a more civil behavioral model.
Also, I think it is painfully clear that recalls are drastic measure that should only be taken in the event of gross misconduct, not because you don’t agree with a policy. When Obama rammed the Heath Care bill down our ass (yes, he rammed it) Republicans were pissed, but we didn’t make asses out of ourselves (well some probably did, but no where near the disgraceful acts we saw by the protesters in Wisconsin….protesting Walker at a Special Olympics event…really?!), no, we reacted with a tide of votes in 2010 and hopefully that will continue in 2012. I would like to see the recall process changed to reflect this. I never want to see another recall election as long as I live (barring extreme circumstances). The people voted in 2010 it should have stayed that way. If the Liberals wanted to change it…they should have focused on gearing up for 2014, like the Republicans did in 2008 (after the Obama victory).
Now, today, go out, hug your liberal friends….make nice…the election is over and we really do need to try to work together to make Wisconsin a place where businesses and families want to work and live.
Oh, go buy a Walker shirt! Grab a piece of history….err..well OK, it’s just a shirt but get one anyway.
Watch this video. Next time a crazy ranting lefty says they are not full of crap….make them watch this. That was mean, sorry…..kind of….still need to vent a bit.
