If you have A.D.D. and don’t want to read, my week was like the above video.

Monday;

First day of ThunderDome Running and Coach Matt’s plan. I cant divulge the exact distances and stuff, because, well HE HAS A BUSINESS and you should sign up if you are interested ahha. What I can say is that I ran…..street running, get my feet wet, set my pace, sweat my ass off……..streets are a ton different than treadmills….duh. Exhausting, but fulfilling to finish. Somehow, mentally, its easier to finish when there is a plan in place and goals set.

Tuesday;

Started the day by attending Packer Training camp with Beefe. Awesome time. Got some alone time with Jen Lada (not really) and saw NFL football close up!

Yep….more ThunderDome Running. More distance, setting pace……man it was damn hot out….REAL HOT. Run anyways, Mudder is calling! Run, Run, Run….so tired, but running…….and done.

Wednesday

My friend, who is responsible for my signing up for Tough Mudder, goes to TNT Fitness for the 5:15 am workout. So, yep, up at 4, drive to TNT and get my ass kicked with some sort of all encompassing body work out including; Pulling a rope, lifting some weighted sand bags around my head, using a huge rubber band to lunge (while friend is on the other end of the band), do some planks, burpies, chest flies, lets see….what else…..oh yeah, throwing weighted balls at a wall, on and on…..just a nice summer morning. I nearly puked after this.

No running. Good thing, because if I would have had to run that evening I might have died. Bed at 7:30 pm.

Thursday;

Run, run, run, more distance, little further than the first two days. RUN RUN DAMMIT! Its hot again, soooo hot….nearing fatigue.

Friday;

Nothing planned…rest up…wait…..wife’s friend called and needs help moving. Off we go, move the wife’s friend.

Saturday;

TNT Fitness Day! 8:45 am. A whole crap ton of lifting kettle bells over my head, squatting with them, Turkish get-ups, and AND….going as heavy as I possibly could for some reps. I had a headache after this one. Arms still hurting.  Oh, and after, some people ran the obstacle course!

Sunday;

Kick ass, run really far and really fast (for me, again, remember I am average man). This was why I enlisted ThunderDome Running, for days like this. Wasn’t sure I could complete what was laid out for me…..but I DID. HELL YES. Sleep.
